Breast lift , breast enlargement

With age, the suspensory ligaments and skin around the breasts gradually lose their elasticity and strength to support a protuberant breast, and consequently the breasts become saggy. A breast lift, also called breast enlargement, is a procedure which tightens the supporting skin and underlying tissue around the breast area and thus restoring the breasts to their natural shape and projection. The size of the areola may also be modified in this procedure.

Breast Lift Surgery Details: If necessary, excessive loose skin is surgically excised and the underlying breast tissue is reshaped and re-suspended to a new desirable shape and position. The incision lines vary according to the amount of skin removed and tissue redraped.

Breast Lift Surgery Results: Swelling and bruising should subside within 2-4 weeks and the new shape of the breasts will improve over 12 months. The scars, if visible, will continue to improve over 2 years.
